సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల తొలి దశ పోలింగ్ గురువారం ఉదయం 7గంటల నుంచి కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా 18 రాష్ట్రాలు, రెండు కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాల్లోని 91 లోక్‌సభ స్థానాలకు పోలింగ్ జరుగుతోంది.
న్యూఢిల్లీ: సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల తొలి దశ పోలింగ్ గురువారం ఉదయం 7గంటల నుంచి సాయంత్రం 6గంటల వరకు కొనసాగింది. సమస్యాత్మక ప్రాంతాల్లో పోలింగ్ సాయంత్రం 4గంటలకే ముగిసింది. తొలిదశలో దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా 18 రాష్ట్రాలు, రెండు కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంతాల్లోని 91 లోక్‌సభ స్థానాలకు పోలింగ్ జరిగింది.
ప్రజలు భారీ సంఖ్యలో తమ ఓటు హక్కును వినియోగించుకున్నారు. కేంద్రమంత్రి కిరణ్ రిజిజు, ఆర్ఎస్ఎస్ చీఫ్ మోహన్ భగవత్, వైఎస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అధినేత జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి పోలింగ్ ప్రారంభమైన కొద్ది సేపటికే తమ ఓటు హక్కును వినియోగించుకున్నారు. రాజకీయ, సినీ ప్రముఖులు కూడా తమ ఓటు హక్కును వినియోగించుకున్నారు.
తొలి దశలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్(25), తెలంగాణ(17), ఉత్తరాఖండ్(5), అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్(2), .జమ్మూకాశ్మీర్(2), మేఘాలయ(2), ఛత్తీస్‌గఢ్, మణిపూర్, మిజోరాం, నాగాలాండ్, సిక్కిం, త్రిపుర, అండమాన్, నికోబార్, లక్ష ద్వీప్‌లలో ఒక్కో లోక్‌సభ స్థానానికి ఎన్నికలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. మిగితా రాష్ట్రాల్లోని కొన్ని స్థానాలకు కూడా తొలి దశలో పోలింగ్ జరుగుతోంది.
జమ్మూకాశ్మీర్‌లో ఆత్మాహుతిదాడి అవకాశం
లోక్‌సభ ఎన్నికల జరుగుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో జమ్మాకాశ్మీర్‌లో ఆత్మాహుతి దాడి జరిగే అవకాశం ఉందని ఇంటెలీజెన్స్ వర్గాలు హెచ్చరించాయి. ఐఈడీతో నింపిన తెలుగు రంగు స్కార్పియో వాహనంతో ఉగ్రవాదులు దాడికి పాల్పడే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపాయి.
కుల్గాం జిల్లాలో రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ చేయబడిన ఈ వాహనంతో ఇద్దరు వ్యక్తులు భారీ విస్పోటనానికి వ్యూహం రచించారని, అయితే, ఈ దాడి ఎక్కడ జరుగుతుందన్న విషయంపై తమకు సమాచారం లేదని వెల్లడించాయి. ఈ హెచ్చరిక నేపథ్యంలో పోలీసులు, భద్రతాదళాలు తనిఖీలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నాయి. ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని సూచించారు.
ఎన్నికల వేళ.. నారాయన్‌పూర్‌లో భారీ పేలుడు
ఛత్తీస్‌గఢ్ రాష్ట్రంలో ఎన్నికల బహిష్కరణకు పిలుపునిచ్చిన మావోయిస్టులు హింసాత్మక ఘటనలకు పాల్పడుతున్నారు. నారాయణపూర్‌లోని ఫరాస్‌గాం ప్రాంతంలో భారీ ఐఈడీ పేలుడుకు పాల్పడ్డారు. ఈ ఘటనలో ఎలాంటి ప్రాణ, ఆస్తి నష్టం జరగకపోయినా.. స్థానికంగా భయాందోళనలకు దారితీసింది. ఇప్పటికే పోలింగ్ జరుగుతున్న ప్రాంతాల్లో పోలీసులు భారీగా మోహరించారు.
- చెదురుమదురు ఘటనలు మినహా తొలిదశ పోలింగ్ ప్రశాంతంగా ముగిసింది. ఓటర్లు భారీ సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొని తమ ఓటు హక్కును వినియోగించుకున్నారు.
